The Office of Faculty Affairs hosts two orientations annually for GW faculty:

New Faculty Orientation

This comprehensive orientation for full-time faculty will provide you with the basic information that every GW faculty member should know as well as information regarding the various offices and networks that support faculty research and teaching at the university.

New Academic Leaders Orientation

This orientation is for individuals new to academic leadership at GW. The New Academic Leaders Orientation program will address a diverse range of topics, including:

  • Academic Leadership 
  • Developing Faculty
  • Diversity and Implicit Bias Training
  • Guidance on the University’s New Title IX and Prohibited Relationships Policies
