New Academic Leaders Orientation

The New Academic Leaders Orientation program will address a diverse range of topics, including: academic leadership, developing faculty, diversity and implicit bias training, and guidance on the University’s New Title IX and Prohibited Relationships Policies. We will also use case studies to explore different approaches to navigating difficult faculty personnel issues and handling challenging student situations.

A resource table will present informational materials from across GW to learn about the full range of resources available at the university. In addition, there will be an opportunity to meet other GW leaders and learn from their experiences during a speed mentoring session.

Please note: A separate invitation will be sent for the President’s Reception via Paperless Post invitation.
